Today, meet Paul Gettel, founder and owner of ‘Cars By Gettel.’
Darren spent some time hanging out in Paul’s massive outbuilding, a space dedicated to car repair, restoration, and customization. Paul has decades of fascinating stories about buying and selling collectible and exotic cars, and taking incredible road trips.
Not only is Paul involved in local car clubs and events, he has piled on myriad miles traversing North America on his motorcycles. To him, the best way to travel is to make new friends with the locals by asking about the coolest places to visit off-the-beaten-path….. especially any points-of-interest NOT listed in a travel book. There is wisdom in Paul’s tales…you’re going to enjoy them.

Today, ride along to Palmyra, Pennsylvania to meet Rally North America veteran, Glenn Beck. Over the years, Glenn has piloted his late model Mustang thousands of miles, crisscrossing the United States many times.
In his Team Limer Stang………yes, the team name matches the paint color……….Glenn has amassed so many significant memories with his Rally North America teammates. In fact, Glenn is extremely proud of how his fellow rally drivers have rallied behind him.
Glenn is devoted to supporting charities and his Ford sports a fighting bee decal emblazed with “Bailey’s Team.” Since meeting Bailey in 2013, Glenn works to support his young fan and the rare blood disorder she fights – Diamond Black Fan Anemia.

As a young talent, Tony is no stranger to open wheel racing. He’s grown up at the track learning car handling skills from his father, Larry Jackson -- an extremely successful, retired racer -- and wrenching in the Pits with his cousin, Barry Jackson. The Jackson Family has spent many seasons at the front of the pack and in the Winners’ Circles of various tracks.

You may remember meeting Tony through Cars of Carlisle Episode #058, which aired back on June 11th.
In this follow-up interview with our C/of/C rally friend, Tony will reflect on the “Insure.It Rally New England 2019” highlights, as well as talk about this month’s “Drives 3” event to Virginia International Raceway and Road Atlanta. Later on in the interview, Darren asks Tony to preview what rally teams can expect for the 2020 Rally North America event, which we know requires a passport to visit our neighbors to the North.

By 1987, Buick was pumping out unheard-of horsepower from the super high-output turbo V6 in the GNX edition. At this point, Buick was giving Chevrolet reason to worry as Grand Nationals were smacking down Corvettes in the quarter mile.

Today, meet Rob Dyson from Poughkeepsie, New York – a lifelong racer that has been involved in the IMSA, ALMS, PWC, and CAN-AM series.
In follow-up to the Cars of Carlisle team’s visit to the Dyson Racing facility during the Rally North America event, Darren recently interviewed Rob to bring these exciting racing stories to you. Starting his racing career in 1974, Rob entered the sport from the grassroots, driving a Datsun 510 in the SCCA. Over the decades, Mr. Dyson collected multiple race victories and accolades while rising through the ranks and various race series.
In this episode, you’re going to hear about tracks like Lime Rock and Watkins Glen, and ride along in marques that include Lola, Mazda, and Porsche.
